At Emberist, we strive to provide the best possible service to our users. This refund policy is designed to be fair to both our users and our business, while aligning with our terms of service and privacy policy.

1. Free Trial Period

1.1. All new users are eligible for a 45-day free trial of Emberist’s full features.

1.2. No payment is required during the free trial period, and therefore no refunds are applicable.

1.3. Users can cancel their account at any time during the free trial period without any charge.

2. Subscription Payments

2.1. After the free trial period, users will be automatically enrolled in their chosen subscription plan (monthly or annual) unless they cancel before the trial ends.

2.2. The first payment will be processed on the day following the end of the free trial period.

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1. Monthly Subscriptions:

  • We do not provide refunds for partial months of service.
  • If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to Emberist until the end of your current billing period.

3.2. Annual Subscriptions:

  • We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for annual subscriptions.
  • If you cancel within 14 days of your first annual subscription payment, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • After the initial 14-day period, we do not provide refunds for partial years of service.

3.3. Exceptions:

  • If you experience technical issues that severely impact your ability to use Emberist, and our support team is unable to resolve these issues within a reasonable time frame, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund at our discretion.

4. How to Request a Refund

4.1. To request a refund, please email our support team at support@emberist.com with the subject line “Refund Request”.

4.2. In your email, please include:

  • Your account email address
  • The reason for your refund request
  • Any relevant details or documentation

4.3. Our support team will review your request and respond within 5 business days.

5. Processing of Refunds

5.1. Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days of approval.

5.2. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the subscription.

5.3. Any bank fees or currency conversion fees are the responsibility of the user and will not be refunded.

6. Cancellation of Service

6.1. Upon processing a full refund, your access to Emberist will be terminated immediately.

6.2. As per our Privacy Policy, we will retain your data for the specified periods outlined therein, even after account cancellation.

7. Abuse Prevention

7.1. We reserve the right to deny refund requests if we detect any signs of fraud or abuse of our refund policy.

7.2. Multiple refund requests from the same user or associated accounts may be grounds for refusal of future refund requests.

8. Changes to This Policy

8.1. We may update our Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Refund Policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date.

8.2. You are advised to review this Refund Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Refund Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
